Guided by Sacred Love: The Life and Legacy of Pope Francis

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Pope Francis, a beacon of light and compassion whose open-hearted approach to peace-building and interfaith dialogue touched countless lives and profoundly impacted our world's spiritual landscape.

Pope Francis exemplified the values of love, compassion, and humility through his commitment to social justice and the care of our planet, resonating deeply across cultures and beliefs and reminding us of our sacred responsibility to one another and the universe. His legacy of love deeply aligns with our values at Fetzer, where we believe in the possibility of a loving world: a world where we understand we are all part of one human family and know our lives have a purpose. In the world we seek, everyone is committed to courageous compassion and bold love—powerful forces for good in the face of fear, anger, division, and despair.

As we gather in mourning to pray and reflect on his wisdom and journey, we hope his spirit will guide us in our mission to build a spiritual foundation for a loving world. We invite you to join us in holding space — in prayer, meditation, or reflection — for the life and legacy of Pope Francis. May his spirit continue to inspire our shared commitment to healing, connection, and sacred belonging.
